Islamabad: Former President Asif Ali Zardari and JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman had an important meeting.
According to Express News, former President Asif Ali Zardari reached his residence to meet his old ally Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the meeting between the two leaders lasted for 50 minutes.
The former president condoled the death of the JUI chief while the two leaders also discussed the overall political situation of the country.
In a statement released by JUIF, it was said that former President Asif Ali Zardari came to express condolences after the demise of the JUI chief Khush Daman.
According to the sources, the meeting between the two leaders continued for 50 minutes, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Dr. Asim Hussain, Maulana Asad Mehmood and Rukhsana Bangash also participated in the meeting.
According to sources, the country’s political situation and the issues of the upcoming general elections were also discussed in the meeting. Rhetoric and accusations have also been made against others.
