Youth dies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police custody, family protests

Peshawar: A citizen died in police custody in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on which the family protested strongly.

According to the details, the family members said that a person named Shamshir was detained by Superior Science College Chowki Anchar and Yeka Tut Police from Gujjarabad Hazar Khawani 7 days ago.

The family claimed that the police demanded Rs 400,000 or 40 mobile phones and when they refused, they arrested three persons including Shamsher, two of whom are in custody.

The relatives of the citizen called the death of the citizen as ‘extrajudicial killing’ and protested to file a case and hand over the body, after which the senior officers took the relatives to the police station to register the case.
