Caretaker Finance Minister Shamshad Akhtar has met the Managing Director of the IMF in Morocco.
In this regard, it has been informed by the Ministry of Finance that Shamshad Akhtar and Finance Ministers of different countries attended the meeting with MDIMF.
According to the statement, the meeting discussed global economic issues and efforts to resolve them.
According to the statement, the Caretaker Finance Minister gave a briefing on measures for economic stability in Pakistan.
Apart from this, Shamshad Akhtar has also met the delegations of international rating agencies Moody’s and Sander & Poor’s in Morocco.
Meanwhile, the Finance Minister reiterated his commitment to transparency to maintain positive rating and investor confidence and assured economic stability, improvement in financial governance and implementation of reforms.
It should be noted that the Pakistani delegation is present in Morocco for the annual meeting of IMF and World Bank.
