A British journalist was killed and four other journalists were injured as a result of the Israeli bombardment on the Syrian town of Lebanon.
According to the reports published in the international media, journalists were covering the ongoing battle between Israel and Hezbollah in the border town of South Lebanon, Alma al-Shabab, when Israeli planes bombarded the town.
Essam Abdullah, a journalist associated with the British news agency Reuters, was killed in the bombardment, while journalists associated with AFP and Al Jazeera were injured.
According to media reports, the journalists who were injured in the airstrike were immediately taken to a nearby hospital.

It should be noted that after the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel, Hezbollah also started attacking Israel in support of the Palestinians.
Fighting between the two sides has intensified over the past week, with artillery being used by Hezbollah while the Israeli military is supported by planes that are bombing Hezbollah-held areas in Lebanon.
