Karachi: Additional District and Sessions Judge South, in the case related to lion patrolling on Shahrah Faisal, imposed a fine of Rs 3 lakh 12 thousand on the owner of the lion and ordered to confiscate the lion.
In front of Additional District and Sessions Judge South’s court in Karachi City Court, a case related to tiger patrolling on Shahrah Faisal was heard.
The lion’s owner, Shamsul Haq, confessed to the crime. The court imposed a fine of 3 lakh 12 thousand rupees on Shamsul Haq, the owner of the tiger.
The court also ordered to confiscate the tiger. According to the prosecutor, the lion is in the Karachi Zoo on a court order. 5 persons including the lion’s owner were named in the case. On August 29, during the transfer of the lion to another place, the lion came out on Shahrah Faisal. The case of the incident is registered in the complaint of the Wildlife Department.
