Islamabad: Chairman PTI Imran Khan challenged the order of indictment in the cipher case in the Islamabad High Court, the court fixed the petition for hearing.
According to Express News, Chairman PTI Imran Khan has filed an application in the High Court through lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat in which he has requested to annul the order of the trial court of October 9.
Imran Khan has said in the petition that the trial court wrote to receive the copies of the case, although they did not receive the copies, the trial court did not wait for the decision of the High Court against the jail hearing, the special court of the Official Secrets Act of 9 October. The decision should be annulled.
Meanwhile, the Islam High Court has fixed the request of chairman PTI to stay the proceedings of the cipher case on Thursday, October 12, which will be heard by Chief Justice Amir Farooq.
