Karachi: Four teenage boys, residents of Superhighway Lasi Goth, drowned in the river, two were rescued while the bodies of two were recovered.
According to details, four young boys, residents of Superhighway Lassi Goth slum, drowned while bathing in the river of Korangi Industrial Area on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock.
Edhi divers rescued 2 boys while 2 went missing in the river, whose bodies were recovered by the divers after a three-hour struggle and taken to Jinnah Hospital where the deceased have been identified as Rahul and Tukka Ghana.
According to the police, the survivors include Ashok and Abla, who are currently undergoing treatment at Jinnah Hospital. The police handed over the bodies of the deceased to the heirs after formalities.
According to the police, the four young boys often used to come to bathe in the river of Korangi Industrial Area.
