Karachi: A group of armed robbers on the bridge near Jinnah Hospital in Shahr Quaid took the employees of Oasis Employees Corporation hostage in public and looted Rs.

According to the details, more than half a dozen armed robbers in cars and motorcycles on the bridge near Jinnah Hospital fled after stealing Rs 71 lakh cash from the employees of Overseas Employees Corporation.

Police say that the employees of Overseas Employees Corporation were going to the car after withdrawing money from the bank near Jinnah Hospital and as soon as they reached the bridge near Jinnah Hospital, armed robbers riding a Corolla car and 2 motorcycles opened fire. But after taking hostages, he took out the bag of money in the trunk of the car and escaped.

71 lakh rupees in cash was found in the bag taken out from the trunk of the vehicle. In this regard, SSP South says that the CCTV footage of the escape route of the robbers is being obtained, while it is suspected that the robbers had prior knowledge of withdrawing the money, but the police are investigating all aspects. and the robbers will be traced soon.

An application has been submitted to the police station regarding the incident of robbery, while it is being told that the driver of the Overseas Employees Corporation and 2 other persons, including the deputy messenger, were taking the said money to some place in the car.
