The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released the World Economic Outlook Report.
The report predicts economic growth rate of 2.5 percent in Pakistan this year.
According to the IMF report, the current fiscal year inflation rate will be 23.6 percent while the GDP growth is estimated to reach 5 percent by 2028.
According to the report, unemployment is likely to come down to 8 percent this year, compared to 8.5 percent last fiscal year.
The IMF report said that the current account deficit will remain at 1.8 percent of GDP this year.
The report also states that the effects of the Corona virus outbreak and the Russia-Ukraine war are still ongoing at the global level.
