Islamabad: FIA Cybercrime took action and arrested four suspects for sexually harassing and blackmailing the woman.
According to FIA spokesperson, cyber crime circle has arrested 4 suspects involved in online sexual harassment and financial fraud: Mohammad Jamshed, Mohsin Raza, Mohammad Hafeez and Sohan Shah.
Accused Muhammad Hafeez and Sohan Shah made the objectionable pictures and videos of the victim go viral on Facebook, the accused also blackmailed the victim and extorted lakhs of rupees from her.
Accused Muhammad Jamshed and Mohsin Raza extorted lakhs of rupees by pretending to be friends of the complainant, the accused in total obtained 17 lakh rupees by blackmailing the victim.
The accused grabbed the said money by telling the woman about the objectionable material and fabricated stories. The accused were arrested from different areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The FIA spokesperson says that cases have been registered against the accused under the PICA Act and further investigation is underway.
