Lahore: The township police took action and arrested 4 suspects who gambled on the World Cup match.
The accused were arrested on the spot while gambling on the match. They had secretly set up a gambling den at Sitak in B1 Sector Township.
The accused include Muhammad Ali, Babar, Yasir and Ijaz. Thousands of rupees in cash, 7 mobile phones, LEDs were recovered from them and a case was registered.
ASP Sudra Khan says that operations are underway to suppress the criminal elements.
