According to the Islamabad Police, operations against illegal resident foreigners are continuing while 1172 people have been investigated so far.
According to the police spokesperson, 69 cases have been registered against 511 illegal foreigners and presented in competent courts, while NADRA’s help has been taken to verify 19 foreigners with Pakistani documents.
According to the police spokesperson, geo-tagging of all resident foreigners has been completed, and awareness messages are being broadcast in the communities where foreigners are trespassing on government land.
Besides, instructions have been issued to voluntarily move to the allocated camps in the next 48 hours.
