The police arrested the three accused from Haripur Hazara and recovered more money
Karachi: Korangi Industrial Area Police recovered Rs 5 crore 31 lakh from the cash van and arrested 4 accused.
SSP Korangi Hasan Sardar Niazi said in a press conference in his office that on September 19, 2023, the driver of a cash van in Korangi Industrial Area, Zohaib, got off the van and escaped with the van after tricking the security guard. After going some distance, he left the van and escaped with 6 crore 35 lakh rupees.
In the initial investigation, the police had arrested Zain, the brother of the main accused, Zohaib, and recovered a huge amount of money. During the investigation, the accused revealed about his three more accomplices, Hamid, Atta-ul-Rehman, and Irfan.
The police arrested the three accused from Haripur Hazara and recovered more money, SSP Korangi says that continuous raids are being conducted to arrest the main accused Zohaib and Rashid.
In response to a question, the SSP further said that the killers of the husband and wife who were killed in Korangi Industrial Area were arrested, while the accused involved in the murder of the father and son were also arrested in the same area, while one accused was killed in the encounter.
