Bonaire: Driver Amirzad was killed and 3 officers were injured in a rocket attack on a police van in Elam Ghar.
According to initial reports, a police van was attacked with a rocket in the Alam Ghar (hill) area of Buner, in which the van driver was killed on the spot while 3 youths in the vehicle were injured.
A police van carrying food for the forces involved in the ongoing operation against militants in Elam Ghar came under attack near Jabrase Government School on the way to Elam. After the incident, a heavy contingent of police and army reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to the hospital.
Local authorities have confirmed the incident while police sources say that a rocket attack took place on the mobile van of Elam Police Station at the junction of Swat Bonir, killing one official (driver) and injuring three others.
