The accused were doing currency exchange business without license
Peshawar: During the raid on the illegal currency exchange, thousands of dollars were recovered and 2 suspects were arrested.
According to the spokesman, FIA Commercial Banking Circle Peshawar conducted a raid on the instructions of Deputy Director Rizwan Shah and in the process arrested 2 suspects involved in illegal currency exchange, who were running money changer business without license.
The accused were arrested from Sadar Bazar area of Peshawar, including Atifullah and Khalid. During the raid, 40 thousand dollars were recovered from the accused. The accused could not satisfy the authorities regarding the recovered currency.
A case has been registered against the accused and investigation has been started.
