Ignoring court orders, hundreds of recruitments were made in the Sisi department

Karachi: In violation of Sindh High Court orders, hundreds of illegal recruitments have been revealed in the Sindh Employees Social Security Institution (SSI) in previous dates.

Despite the clear orders of the Sindh High Court, Sisi’s administration has made 1800 appointments from Grade 2 to Grade 17. They refused to join the illegal employees in the old dates and pointed out by writing a letter to the CSI Head Office.

Commissioner Sisi got angry and transferred the senior officer when Provincial Secretary Labor Shariq Ahmed inquired about the recruitments in the past.

On July 27, the Sindh High Court had issued a restraining order to the Sindh Labor Department and the CC administration in petition number 1260/23 on the request of CC United Staff Union Sindh.

Sources say that illegal joining of employees in previous dates is still continuing, police verification of employees is not being done and it has been revealed that medical fitness is also done from unrelated hospitals.

According to the rules, for the appointment in any department or institution of the Sindh government, it is mandatory to undergo medical fitness from the services hospital.

Express News contacted Commissioner Sisi Saleem Kharo to take the stand of the Sisi department, but he refused to give a stand saying that he is on leave.
