Rawalpindi police traced the robbery within 24 hours and arrested the accused.
According to the spokesperson of the police, the police took action in Purodhai area and arrested the robbers who stole more than 25 lakh money and mobile phone from the citizen within 24 hours.
25 lakh 7 thousand rupees, mobile phones and weapons used in the incidents were also recovered from the arrested suspects Umeer and Sulaiman. A motorcycle stolen from the citizen a few days ago was also recovered from the possession of the accused.
According to preliminary investigation, both the accused were escaping to dispose of the looted money. The accused committed the crime against the citizen at gun point near the graveyard number 30 of Purodhai area. The accused are being transferred to the jail for identification parade after the revelation of several incidents.
