Lahore: The Kahanna police arrested a person who pretended to be a government officer of a sensitive institution.
The police arrested the accused from Shahzada Road during snap checking, the accused was pretending to be an inspector of a sensitive institution but on checking the records it was found that the accused Hameedullah Khan is not an inspector.
Accused Hameedullah Sabirabad is a resident of Kirk district who admitted that the accused used to introduce himself as an officer in his area as well.
The accused had also created a fake card of a sensitive institution while a case was registered against the accused and handed over to the investigation wing.
SP Model Town felicitated the Kahanna police and announced the awarding of certificates of appreciation.
