Inauguration of Al-Khidmat Agoos Home for Orphan Children in Faisalabad

Faisalabad: Al-Khidmat Foundation inaugurated the 22nd Al-Khidmat Agoos Home for orphans in Faisalabad.

A prestigious event was organized on this occasion in which Al-Khidmat Foundation Central Punjab President Ikram-ul-Haq Sobhani, National Director of Al-Khidmat Agosh Homes Air Marshal (Rtd) Arshad Malik, Senior Manager Media Relations Shoaib Hashmi, Dr Riaz Hussain from World Care Foundation and Al-Khidmat Faisalabad President Rai Muhammad Akram Khan Kharl and local dignitaries participated in large numbers.

Speaking at the event, Air Marshal (Retd) Arshad Malik, National Director of Al-Khidmat Agoos Homes said that the project of Al-Khidmat Agoos Homes was started by building a small house for children who lost their parents in the 2005 earthquake in Attock.

He said that after that, the establishment of Al-Khidmat Agoos Homes started across the country to provide quality facilities to orphans and today the 22nd Agoos Home has been established in Faisalabad.

Air Marshal (Retd) Arshad Malik said that Al-Khidmat Aghos Faisalabad is a building on an area of ​​63 marles, where initially 60 children are being provided with accommodation, food, education, health and other basic necessities of life.

Computer lab, library, sports ground, indoor games and various lectures and educational tours are also organized for children’s psychological development in Aghosh Homes.

He said that 44 kanal area has been acquired with the support of philanthropists for the next phase of Al-Khidmat Aghos Faisalabad, where the construction of a school and hospital along with Aghos for 250 orphans will be started soon.

Dr. Riaz Hussain while talking said that Al-Khidmat Foundation is a reliable name for service in the country and abroad. Al-Khidmat appreciates the initiatives taken by Al-Khidmat for the welfare of orphans including disaster prevention and other services.

He further said that development is not possible without education. I hope that these children will read and write and interpret the dreams of their mother and late father.

President of Al-Khidmat Foundation Central Punjab, Ikram-ul-Haq Subhani, said on this occasion that the mission of Al-Khidmat is to ensure that no orphan remains without support.

According to the report of UNICEF, more than 4.2 million children are orphans in Pakistan, whose age is less than 17 years, and a large number of them are children who do not have access to proper education, training, health and food facilities.

These children are victims of social and social deprivation due to lack of education and training and proper facilities, and many of them even become victims of deviance. In view of this need, Al-Khidmat Foundation started sponsoring orphan children across the country.

Al-Khidmat is currently supporting more than 28,000 orphans under the Al-Khidmat Orphan Family Support Program, including Aghus-ul-Khidmat Homes across the country. Al-Khidmat is also taking steps to provide skills to orphans as well as their widowed mothers.

At the end of the ceremony, gifts were given to the children and the guests were also given a tour of Aghosh. The guests expressed their happiness and satisfaction over the facilities provided to the children and appreciated the efforts of Al Khidmat for the orphans.

He congratulated on the establishment of Aghosh for orphans and reiterated his commitment that everyone will provide complete protection to these brave boys and girls.
