After depreciating further by Rs 1 8 paise, the dollar became Rs 283 60 paise in interbank.
At the close of business yesterday, the dollar was at 284 rupees 68 paisa at interbank.
It should be noted that last month on September 5, the dollar was worth 307 rupees 10 paisa in the interbank, the dollar has decreased by 23 rupees 50 paisa in the last 1 month.

Pakistan Stock Exchange 100 index increased by 216 points to 47 thousand 296.
