Lahore: Renowned religious scholar and Naat-e-Khawan Maulana Asaidur Rehman was robbed by robbers.
According to the police, in Lari Adda area of Lahore, the robbers killed Maulana Asidur Rehman, the host of religious programs on PTV and Radio Pakistan. At gunpoint, they lost the valuable mobile phone and five thousand rupees in cash and fled.
The police say that when Maulana Asadur Rehman got down from the car, two unknown persons on a motorcycle surrounded him at gunpoint. A case has been registered in Lari Adda police station and the search for the accused has been started.
