Karachi: Caretaker Health Minister Sindh Dr. Saad Khalid Niaz has expressed concern regarding robotic surgery in Jinnah Hospital as a waste of financial resources.
According to the details, Sindh Caretaker Health Minister Dr. Saad Khalid Niaz has expressed serious concerns regarding robotic surgery in Jinnah Hospital in his statement.
He said in his statement that the surgery of gall bladder by robot is just a waste of money, one surgery costs about fifteen hundred to two thousand dollars which is about four and a half to five lakh rupees.

Dr. Saad Khalid Niaz said that normally, the same surgery costs very little, it is a very wrong and expensive use of robotic surgery, he is trying hard to stop the waste of money.
According to the Caretaker Health Minister, the Sindh Health Department has stopped the further purchase of robots due to the current situation.
He said that the cost of a robot can improve the condition of many small and big hospitals, providing free and affordable basic health facilities to the people is the first priority.
