In Zafarwal area of Punjab, a hard-hearted uncle killed two nephews to avenge the murder of his brother by his brother-in-law.
According to police officials, the accused, a resident of Zafarwal, took 8-year-old Abu Bakr and 4-year-old Ahmed from their house on the pretext of feeding them cold water and took them to the fields and killed them.
The bodies of the two children were found in the fields with nooses around their necks.
According to the police officials, the accused is absconding since the incident and has conveyed a message to his sister that he killed the nephews to take revenge on his brother.
According to the authorities, the two children were strangled to death by placing rope nooses around their necks. The police have registered a case of the incident and started searching for the accused.
