An attempt to smuggle Indian currency to Nepal under the guise of books failed

Karachi: Pakistan Customs foiled smuggling of Indian currency to Nepal under the guise of books.

According to the details, Pakistan Customs recovered three lakh Indian rupees from the parcel booked by displaying the books while taking action at the International Mail Office of the Courier Service.

According to Customs, the currency hidden in the parcel was in the form of Indian notes of Rs 500 denomination, and this currency was booked by the accused named Sajid for Kathmandu Nepal by showing the books.

The parcel weighing two kilograms was booked for Hotel Discovery Inn Thamal Kathmandu.

According to Customs, a case of smuggling of Indian currency has been registered and the accused is being searched.
