The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PCX) had a positive day of business today, with the 100 index closing at 47,079 with a gain of 323 points.
During the business day, the 100 index remained in a band of 425 points while the index touched a high of 47,199 today, the highest since August 11, when the index closed at 48,898 on August 11.
33 crore shares were traded in the share market today, thus the value of the share market business was 7 billion 30 crore rupees.
The market capitalization of PSX increased by 31 billion rupees to 6 thousand 977 billion rupees.
