Karachi: There is a possible risk of the ‘dangerous virus Nipah’ spreading in India in Pakistan as well, in connection with which the Sindh Health Department has also issued an advisory to the heads of government hospitals.

According to the details, all the staff have been instructed to be alert in view of the possible threat of Nipah virus.

Director General Health Sindh has written a letter to all the hospitals, the Health Department of Sindh has instructed the MS, Directors and Livestock Department of hospitals across Sindh to be alert.

According to the advisory, the Nipah virus spreads rapidly from animals to humans and from humans to humans. The initial symptoms of the virus include fever, headache, body aches, coma, and other symptoms. No cases have been reported so far in Pakistan including Sindh. came .
