Sarfaraz Ahmed's response to those who did 'unjustice' with the bat

Lahore: Former national team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed responded with his bat to not being selected in the World Cup squad and being put in the D category by the PCB.

Karachi Whites captain Sarfraz Ahmed once again proved the selectors wrong by scoring his second double century in first-class cricket in the match against Lahore Whites at the Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.

Sarfaraz Ahmed scored an unbeaten 200 off 236 balls which included 24 fours and a six while Ramiz scored an unbeaten 151 off 264 balls with the help of 15 fours and two sixes.

During the match, for the first time in the history of Pakistan’s domestic cricket, five batsmen set a new record of scoring centuries in a single innings. It was the fifth time he scored five centuries in an innings in first-class cricket at the international level.

Khurram Manzoor, Asad Shafiq, Imad Alam, Rameez Aziz and Sarfaraz Ahmed scored centuries in the same innings.

It should be noted that 36-year-old Sarfraz Ahmed has recently completed 9000 runs in first-class cricket. He batted over 270 innings at an impressive average of 41.64 while his best score is 213 not out.

Sarfaraz Ahmed is one of the most successful captains of the Pakistan cricket team, under whose leadership the Green Shirts won the Champions Trophy by defeating India by 180 runs in the final in 2017. Under the captaincy of Sarfraz, Pakistan won 11 consecutive series and became the number one T20 team in the world.
