According to the details, 2 people were killed and one was injured in firing under Jail Chowrangi bridge in Newtown area in different areas of the city between Saturday and Sunday.
SHO Newtown Sub-Inspector Aqeel Ahmed said that the dead 25-year-old man was allegedly a robber who could not be immediately identified, while the injured was identified as 28-year-old Muhammad Ali alias Ali Lambo son of Abdul Razzaq. The police say that 4 robbers on a motorcycle had robbed a citizen and escaped. The unknown car driver opened fire, as a result of which three robbers were shot, one of the robbers died on the spot.

The police suspect that the person who died in the shooting is an alleged robber who was shot and killed by unknown persons.
