Nawaz Sharif will surrender in the Islamabad court on Monday after holding a rally on his return home
Lahore: There has been progress in the case of Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Nawaz Sharif’s return home.
According to party sources, Nawaz Sharif’s legal team has completed detailed consultations with Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz and finalized their strategy with the mutual consent of the League leadership.
Two days before Nawaz Sharif’s return home, an application for protective bail will be filed in the Lahore High Court.
The legal team is confident of getting 3 to 7 days security from the Lahore High Court. Law enforcement agencies will not be able to arrest Nawaz Sharif at the airport due to the security bond.
The legal team is of the opinion that in the case in which Nawaz Sharif has been punished, Maryam Nawaz has been acquitted honorably. With the acquittal of Maryam Nawaz and retired Captain Muhammad Safdar, Nawaz Sharif is likely to get full legal benefits from the court. .
