Pakistani music producer Sharif Awan bagged a hat-trick by winning three gold awards at the Global Music Awards (GMAs) held in California.
According to foreign media reports, the Pakistani musician was awarded the Gold Award for ‘Music in Covid Times’ at this year’s Global Music Awards.
Produced by Sharif Awan under the banner of Tehbeeh Foundation, ‘Music in Covid Times’ won the Gold Award in the categories of Creativity/Originality, Best Album and Best Producer at the Global Music Awards.
It may be recalled that earlier in 2016, he also won the Gold Award at the Global Music Awards for ‘Indus Raag – Beyond Borders’. His said album was included in the 10 best albums of that year.
Not only this, but music producer Sharif Awan made history by entering the Grammy Awards for the first time on behalf of Pakistan with the album ‘Indus Raag’ released in 2015.
