Islamabad: The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad sentenced the Muslim boy Shahzad to 25 years imprisonment for killing a Christian girl for refusing to marry him.
According to Express News, a hearing related to the case was held in the District and Sessions Court Islamabad, in which Sessions Judge Azam Khan gave a reserved judgment in the case. Assistant District Public Prosecutor Rana Hassan Abbas prosecuted the case.
The judge said in the verdict that a boy named Shahzad sent the family to the 24-year-old Christian girl for a relationship. Continuing to threaten, the criminal Shahzad chased the girl and shot her dead on November 30, 2020.
The judgment said that the prosecution was successful in proving the case against the criminal Shahzad, therefore the court sentenced the criminal Shehzad to 25 years of imprisonment and acquitted the other three accused.
It should be noted that a murder case was registered on November 30, 2020 in Coral police station.
