Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Katrina Kaif has overtaken META chief Mark Zuckerberg in the popularity race on WhatsApp.
Recently Meta’s subsidiary messaging application WhatsApp introduced its new Channels feature in over 150 countries, Channels is a broadcast feature that celebrities and sports teams can use to share their updates.
With this new feature, we can estimate the popularity of celebrities by seeing the number of followers they have on WhatsApp.
So far, Katrina Kaif is the most followed person on WhatsApp channels with 14.2 million followers, while Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has 9.2 million followers.
Katrina Kaif has defeated Mark Zuckerberg as well as world famous singer and rapper Bad Bunny in the race of popularity on WhatsApp as the singer has 12.6 million followers on WhatsApp which is less than the Bollywood actress.
So far, Katrina Kaif is being followed the most on WhatsApp channels after WhatsApp, Netflix and Real Madrid.
