A Pakistani waiting to return home died in Jeddah

Karachi: A passenger waiting to return home due to a malfunction in a PIA flight died of a heart attack in a hotel in Jeddah

According to Express News, 275 passengers were transferred to a hotel due to a fire in the AP unit during the departure of flight PK 760 from Jeddah to Lahore.

31-year-old Zakis Ahmed was staying in the hotel along with other passengers on Thursday night. The dead body of Zakis, a resident of Gujranwala, has been taken into custody by the Jeddah Police for legal proceedings.

The body of the passenger has been transferred to the mortuary of a local hospital in Jeddah. The body of Zakis Ahmed, who died on Friday, will be handed over to the Pakistani consulate after completion of post-mortem and other procedures.

According to the details, the dead body of the young man will be sent back home after the completion of the procedure in Jeddah possibly in two to three days.
