Kedarnath Bhattacharya popularly known as Kumar Sanu is a 1990s Bollywood singer, also known as King of Melody.
In a recent interview, 66-year-old Kumar Sanu talked about the politics in Bollywood and spoke candidly about the challenges he faced during his career.
He said that he also faced the politics found in the industry and still faces it, but such a situation should be faced as an individual man or as a true artist.
Kumar Sanu, who was born in West Bengal and is famous for his singing in hit films like Aashiqui, Deewana and Baazigar, said, “I heard 10 songs as a chorus and when I met these singers, they received me very warmly, some of them were talking but we didn’t need to react.
According to Kumar Sanu we have to express our reaction through our singing and art, only one thing is important in Mumbai film world and that is work.
He said that we give our answer through work, so should not be a part of any unnecessary fight, the reason I don’t work in big films is because big heroes have their own personal circle and lobby.
Kumar Sanu also said that if you make a place in this lobby, then this lobby starts giving you work, outside it there were self-employed people like me, I did not go to anyone to ask for work.
