Karachi: The Korangi Investigation Police arrested the brother of the accused who was involved in the robbery of more than 6 crores from the cash van and recovered Rs 5 crore 31 lakh in cash.
According to the sources of Investigate Police, the arrested accused Zain was arrested from Wahari city in Punjab, while the police are conducting raids in search of the main suspect involved in the incident, Zohaib, who was the driver of the cash van of the security company and was arrested on September 19 in Korangi. He evaded the security guard of the cash van from the industrial area and escaped with the van.
According to the police, the van contained Rs 6.35 million in cash, while after the accused escaped, the footage of the closed circuit camera was also revealed in which he left the cash van on the side of the road. After leaving the cash, he escapes by sitting in the car along with his other colleagues.
