Utility Stores Corporation has issued a new tender for the purchase of sugar.
An open tender has been issued for the purchase of 40 thousand metric tons of sugar. Under the tender enveloped bids have been invited on October 13, these bids will be opened on the same day.
Sources of Utility Stores Corporation say that the stock of sugar has decreased to about 2500 metric tons.
Sources further said that utility stores had bought sugar at Rs 130 per kg in the last tender.
