Karachi: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi has announced the results of Class 10 Science Group after a month’s delay, the first two positions were held by female students.
According to the details, the results of the 10th class were announced under the Board of Secondary Education Karachi, in which the first and second positions were won by female students and the third position was won by male students.
A function was organized to announce the results in which the students who secured the position were awarded medals. On this occasion, the principals of the schools along with the parents were also present in the ceremony.
Shaheera Fatima, who secured first position in matric science group, secured 94.91% marks from Metropolis School. Rabisa Ali of Felkin House School bagged the second position by securing 94.09 percent marks while the third position went to Muhammad Umar Iqbal Ansari of Islamia Secondary School with 93.72 percent marks.
The number of students who took A1 grade in matric science group was 33967. 45080 students A, 34250 students B, 18033 students C while 3037 students D and 16 students passed in E grade.
A total of 156068 students submitted their examination forms in Matriculation Board Class 10th Science Group out of which 156022 candidates participated in the examinations. A total of 134646 students have passed. Thus the success ratio was 86.30.
On this occasion, Secretary Universities and Boards Noor Ahmad Samu while talking to the media said that the reason for the delay in the results has been attributed to the absence of teachers by the board administration, the teachers were on vacation and refused to do the assessment, but the evidence related to the change in the results. Investigation will be done when it comes out.
He said that I have done matriculation from an inter-government educational institution, matriculation is a milestone for students, getting first position in the board is a big day for a student, many students have got A1 grade this time.
He further said that in today’s era, I will give credit to all the associations, school principals, whether it is government or private school, the role of management is important, he said that we are trying to get results by using artificial intelligence. will reduce the time so that the results come quickly.
Noor Ahmad Samu said that students should have a tendency to read more, books are read more in developing countries, the board will take suggestions on how to make the administration foolproof.
On this occasion, Board of Secondary Education Karachi Chairman Syed Sharaf Ali Shah said that the results were delayed because we did not get support from the government, we were depending on the teachers more than the government.
On this occasion, position holders students said that they faced difficulties in preparing for the exams but continued to work hard which has been rewarded today, it was difficult due to power outage during the exams.
