Lawyer petitioner Ziaur Rehman Tajik said that the provincial government does not have the authority to cancel the test, the authority to conduct or re-conduct the test is with the PMDC.

Justice Arshad Ali said that according to the act, this is the power of the provincial government. On this, the lawyer said that according to the act, the provincial government and the universities have this power in the regulation. The Sindh government had also canceled the test. Another petitioner’s lawyer Yasir Khattak Advocate said that intelligent students will be affected by re-conducting the test, FIRs have been registered against 219 students and their tests have been cancelled, it is clear in the act and regulation that If the peer is cancelled, the entire test cannot be cancelled, an inquiry should be made and the tests of those involved should also be cancelled.

The court asked Khyber Medical University and ETA to submit their response, submit a detailed response by Monday, hear the case on Tuesday and decide.
