The dollar closed at 288 rupees 75 paise at the end of interbank trading yesterday.
On the other hand, the dollar depreciated by 1 rupee 50 paise to 288 rupees 50 paisa in the open market.
The dollar closed at Rs 290 at the close of business yesterday in the open market.
