California: Although Elon Musk’s decision to cash in on Elon Musk’s ‘authenticated BlueTick’ option for Twitter has proven somewhat unpopular, it is bringing in an extra $7 million every three months. In the same way, Meta Company is also considering the bluetic option for Facebook and Instagram.
It was first reported by technology expert, Alessandro Pelozzi, which has also been published by several websites. According to him, the blue badge option with value is being given in the meta code base which will definitely help in stopping the fake profile. But Metta has not said anything to deny or confirm this.
Although it may be priced monthly or annually, its primary goal is to keep celebrities connected to Facebook and Instagram and get their profile verified by the company itself. This will also discourage fake celebrity accounts.
Some people say that Meta also wants to make up for the financial loss he has suffered in the Metaverse. Although the Meta administration has repeatedly said that Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook will always be available indefinitely, the case of verified profiles is a little different.
But the most important thing is that till now the matter is not clear as Metta has not confirmed or denied it.
