Karachi: Domestic and foreign chickens, ducks and colorful birds became the center of public attention in University of Karachi.
According to Express News, the students of BS Poultry Science have collected birds and decorated the exhibition for the awareness of bird restoration, breeding, rescue, health care and taming as well as the experiences of experts.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Samina Bano, Head of Faculty of Sciences, University of Karachi, while more than twenty stalls of birds were set up in the exhibition, in which more than a hundred birds of about thirty species remained the center of public attention.
Cornish cross, brown leghorn, Egyptian chickens, ducks of different breeds and colorful birds and a lone dragon were loved by the participants.
Birds of England, Germany, Europe, local breed, silkie, white cockerel, cochineal, golden puff peacock and parrots of different breeds were also part of the exhibition. Also interested in
The President of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Karachi, Prof. Dr. Taseer Ahmad Khan said that the purpose of the said exhibition is to provide awareness to the students of this department and especially the students of Poultry Science and to enlighten them with the experiences of experts in this department.
Nabeel Siddiqui, a first year student, while talking to Express, said that the people think that poultry and bird work is the work of villages. The world is using modern technology like control shed. are running
The students said that there is a great demand for birds in the Middle East, and the falcon is also used in the currency of the UAE. We need to get to know them and increase our investment, in Brazil and China the economy has been strengthened because of poultry. Demand for eggs, meat is high and we do not increase our exports.
