The dollar became cheaper in the interbank and open currency markets

Karachi: The US dollar continues to depreciate against the rupee. On Tuesday too, the dollar became cheaper in the interbank and open currency markets.

On the second day of the business week, the value of the dollar in the interbank market fell by another rupee 08 paise to the level of 289 rupees 78 paise. Later, the downward trend continued and by noon the dollar fell by one rupee 22 paise to 289 rupees 64 paisa in the interbank market.

Meanwhile, in the open currency market, the dollar decreased by one rupee to 292 rupees.

On the other hand, there is a bullish trend in the Pakistan Stock Exchange today. On Tuesday, the PSX opened with a gain of 64 points and the KSE 100 index rose to a level of 46457 points.
