Karachi: After Punjab, a ban was imposed on the sale and purchase of Avastin injection in Sindh as well.
The drug inspectors of the Sindh Health Department have started seizing Avastin injections from hospitals, warehouses and pharmacies on the instructions of the Caretaker Health Minister.
The Sindh Health Department has also directed to investigate specific seeds and records, after which the record of sale and supply of this seed will be checked.
It should be noted that many people suffering from conjunctivitis in Punjab had lost their sight due to the said injection, after which it was banned in Punjab.
