Karachi: Pak Colony Police arrested the accused who threw acid on a woman in the incident of acid attack in Hasrat Mohani Colony.
According to the police, the accused threw acid on the woman standing at the threshold of the house, as a result of which she got injured. According to SSP Kemari Arif Aslam Rao, an incident of acid attack took place in Hasrat Mohani Colony area of Pak Colony around 9:30 on Monday morning in which the accused Arsalan threw acid on 35-year-old Yasmin at the threshold of the house, causing the woman to die. Burned and injured.
In the initial investigation, the police termed the incident as an indication of personal enmity. According to the police, 3 years ago, bitterness arose between the elder brother of Arsalan and the sister of the woman, due to which there was a daily quarrel between the two families.
SHO Pak Colony Agha Asadullah arrested the accused Arsalan on identifying the victim of acid attack and shifted the woman to Civil Hospital for medical assistance.
