Jinnah House attack: Prosecution's decision to go to High Court against the bail of 9 accused

Islamabad: The prosecution has decided to approach the High Court after granting bail to 9 accused including PTI activist Sanam Javed, Rubina Jameel in the Jinnah House attack case.

According to Express News, this bail of PTI workers in the Jinnah House attack case was granted three days ago by the Anti-Terrorism Court, on which the government will now challenge this decision in the High Court.

The sources say that the consultation on the preparation of the application for release of the bails is going on by the prosecution, the application will be filed as soon as the certified decision of the Anti-Terrorism Court is received.

It should be noted that the anti-terrorism court has granted bail to nine accused including PTI workers Sanam Javed and Rubina Jameel three days ago.

Meanwhile, in the challan of the May 9 tragedy cases, the FIA ​​declared the videos of arson and vandalism as genuine. In this regard, FIA’s report containing social media and digital evidence was received by JIT.

According to the JIT sources, more than 400 social media links, footages sent to FIA, PEMRA report is awaited regarding the footages aired on TV channels. Later the challan will be submitted to the court.
