Ali Zafar Announces ICC World Cup Anthem: Photo Web Desk
Karachi: After the reaction of cricket fans to the World Cup 2023 anthem released by the International Cricket Council (ICC), now Pakistani singer Ali Zafar has announced to make the World Cup anthem.
Recently, the International Cricket Council (ICC) released the official anthem of the Cricket World Cup 2023 in India.
The special song ‘Dil Jashan Bole’ released on ICC’s social media accounts features Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh’s performance while the music is composed by Pritam.
Cricket fans and social media users criticized the official World Cup anthem as disappointing, while Pakistani fans requested singer Ali Zafar to make the ICC anthem.
At the request of fans, now Ali Zafar has released a special video message on social media in which he has announced to make the anthem of the ICC World Cup.
Ali Zafar said in his video message that ‘our people get very few opportunities for entertainment and when there is a cricket event, our people want the anthem to be a banger’.
The singer announced the good news to his fans and said that ‘I have an idea under which I can prepare an anthem together with all of you’.
In his video message, he addressed the young music composers, writers and producers of Pakistan and said, ‘I invite you to make Milkar Tarana with me’.
“People who are interested in music, whether it’s composing, writing lyrics, singing or giving ideas, support me,” Ali Zar said.
The singer also said that ‘You write your ideas, your tunes and lyrics and tag me on social media and share them’.

He further said that ‘It will be the first time in the history of Pakistan that when we democratically make an anthem for ourselves, we will try and Allah will help us’.
Remember that the biggest cricket tournament, World Cup 2023, will be played in India from October 5 to November 19.
