Rawalpindi: Former Prime Minister and Chairman PTI Imran Khan, Kwattak Jail administration showed incapacity to appear in court.
According to Express News, the Attock Jail administration has requested Imran Khan to be exempted from presenting him (Imran Khan) while showing his inability to appear in court.
The jail authorities say that the trial is taking place in the jail, so moving the PTI chairman from the jail to another place may be a security risk.
It should be noted that Chairman PTIFIA is in custody in a case under the Counter Terrorism Act, he is scheduled to appear in the court of Senior Civil Judge Qudratullah in Islamabad on September 25.
Meanwhile, police sources say that for the appearance of the former prime minister in the court of the senior civil judge, the Islamabad Police Security Officer and the list of police officers who will appear in the court will be provided to the Attock Jail.
According to police sources, the police has informed the Ministry of Interior about the proposed measures to bring Imran Khan to court.
Attock Jail administration will also be provided with vehicle numbers of Islamabad Police.
Police sources say that the police will immediately take the proposed steps after receiving the final instructions for the appearance of PTI chairman.
