London: During a British Airways flight, a female passenger who was believed by other passengers and crew to be sitting in her seat, turned out to be dead at the end of the journey.
According to international media reports, the 73-year-old woman was a passenger on a British Airways flight between London’s Heathrow Airport and Nice, France. In the investigation, it was found that the woman suffered a heart attack during the flight from which she could not survive.
When the flight landed in southern France and other passengers got up to get off the plane, they noticed that the woman was not moving to get off the plane. When some passengers tried to wake up the woman, she was lifeless.
The passengers immediately alerted the aircraft’s flight crew, who then called the emergency services. Medical personnel arrived at the scene and confirmed the woman’s death, while the woman was pronounced dead around 10 pm local time.
On this occasion, British Airways said in its statement that we are with the family of the female passenger in this sad moment.
On the other hand, Airways also said that we are unable to provide or confirm more details about the woman.
It should be noted that the identity of the woman and the exact circumstances surrounding her death have not yet come to light. A French media report said that the woman was a British citizen, but this too has yet to be confirmed.
