Beijing: Video sharing app TikTok has started testing Google Search in the application.
Earlier this week, app researcher Rado Oncescu posted a screenshot on X (formerly Twitter) showing a Google search tab for searching for a topic in TikTok.
According to the screenshot, the Google search card is located in the middle of TikTok videos and when this card is pressed, a warning will appear stating that TikTok is not responsible for the search results.
TikTok search is usually used to find videos on various topics, but it’s clear that the company wants to make this feature more useful for users.
Speaking to Insider, TikTok confirmed that the company is testing the inclusion of Google Search, but did not say whether the move is due to a financial deal with Google. no.
