Mumbai: Bollywood’s Mr. Perfect Aamir Khan has extended a helping hand to the flood victims of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.
According to Indian media, the actor has given financial assistance of 25 lakh Indian rupees to the flood-affected families.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sokho has thanked the actor and said that the condition of the victims will improve with his help.
Due to heavy rain and cloudburst, various areas of Himachal Pradesh are in the grip of severe floods while landslides are also being experienced at different places.
On the showbiz front, Aamir Khan has produced the film ‘Lapata Ladies’ with Geo Studios, which premiered on September 8 at the Toronto International Film Festival.
